Independence is a core value for us and, unlike many competitors, we do not accept remuneration for our services from anyone other than our clients.  This approach keeps us objective and independent for the benefit of clients.

Joseph "Joe" A. Fernández, CFP®

Founder, President & CEO

Mr. Fernández founded Invenio Wealth Partners in 2022, following 28 years with a top global wealth management firm (BNY Mellon) and 2 years with a boutique wealth manager (Fieldpoint Private). Joe served as president of the BNY Mellon Florida region 2014-2020, responsible for the firm’s wealth management and planning, investment management, private banking, and client service, and was a member of the firm’s wealth management operating committee. Prior to that, he served as managing director for portfolio management in Florida, overseeing investment personnel across the state.

Mr. Fernández received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Barry University, and his certificate in Personal Financial Planning from Florida State University. He was a member of the inaugural class of The Partnership's Next Generation Executive program at Harvard Business School. A Miami native and committed community advocate, Mr. Fernández has served as the interim President & CEO of The Miami Foundation in 2019-2020 and previously served as a Trustee and Board Vice Chair. He currently serves as a director of Miami Dade College Foundation (chair, Audit Committee) and the MCVI Council of Baptist Hospital Foundation (Chair), as well as a director of the Sebastian Strong Foundation.

Christina B. Hudson

Founder & Chief Investment Officer

Christina Hudson is a co-founder and senior advisor of Invenio Wealth Partners providing investment and wealth planning advice to individuals and families.  She has expertise in investment strategy design, implementation and ongoing monitoring and review of client plans. However, Christina is most gratified helping families/individuals that are in-transition ranging from selling a business, retirement, divorce or widowhood.

Prior to co-founding Invenio Wealth Partners, joining Fieldpoint Private Securities, LLC in 2020, Christina’s more than 29 years of experience included 22 years with BNY Mellon Wealth Management, where she served as a senior director and senior wealth manager, working with some of the firm’s most complex family relationships. There, she advised a number of the firm’s investment committees. Previous to BNY Mellon, Christina spent five years with SunTrust, as a portfolio manager and asset/liability analyst.

Christina is an alumnus of the University of Miami, earning her bachelor’s degree in international finance and marketing, and later her MBA, also at the University of Miami, after gaining real world experience.

Christina resides in Palmetto Bay, Florida with her children and enjoys spending time with family and friends while giving back to the community.

Johanna Arbelaez-Pérez

Founder & Managing Director

Ms. Arbelaez-Perez has more than 25 years of experience in wealth management and banking. Prior to co-founding Invenio Wealth Partners, she served as Associate Advisor at Fieldpoint Private.  Before that, she spent 20 years at BNY Mellon Wealth Management where she served as an associate wealth manager, and part of a successful team focused on wealth planning, banking, and investment management for high-net-worth clients.

Ms. Arbelaez-Perez is a graduate of the BNY Mellon Mentoring Program, where she was part of a team that created the NextGen project, which was later adapted by the firm and is currently used by clients nationwide. She also graduated from the BNY Mellon Certified Advisor Program (CAP), after a rigorous course of study. Ms. Arbelaez-Perez holds an associate degree in Business Administration. She likes jogging and enjoying the beautiful weather in Miami, where she resides with her family.

Thomas Packert, Jr.

Analyst

Thomas Packert is a recent graduate of Wake Forest University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in finance along with a minor in global trade and commerce studies. During his time as an undergraduate, he accumulated work experience as a leverage finance intern at TIAA Bank, an accounting intern at Xendoo Online Accounting, and his four-year role as administrative assistant at the Wake Forest University Office of Registrar.

Thomas is a Miami native and enjoys giving back to the community. He serves as a Mas Family Program Alumni Chapter Class Representative at Christopher Columbus High School for the Class of 2019. At Wake Forest University, he was an annual participant in Hit the Bricks and Wake ‘N Shake, to support fundraising and awareness efforts for the Brian Piccolo Cancer Research Fund. In the aftermath of the global pandemic, he volunteered for the Greater Winston-Salem Minority Grant Program to financially assist struggling local businesses with grants. Thomas enjoys spending time with his family and friends, is an avid sports fan, and loves to travel and explore different cultures.

Stacy Sizemore, IACCP 

Chief Compliance Officer

With more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry, 12 of which are in compliance, Stacy is a seasoned professional, well equipped to manage all areas of compliance for Invenio Wealth Partners. Her background includes working with broker-dealers, investment advisors, and institutional clients at CitiGroup, Smith Barney, D.A. Davidson, and M Securities.

An Oregon native, Stacy is a graduate of Oregon State University. She resides in Portland with her husband and college-age daughter, where they are an avid basketball-watching, playing and coaching family.
